All, in the hi rachel and maybe shuhui sense, since I don't think anyone visits this blog anymore. Some probably forgot about its existence, others never really knew it existed, did they?
Since I have no videos to share, as Rachel always does. My picture will do the talking. Laugh, as you may, at my narcissitic self.
Anyway, how is everyone? :D Coping fine with the holiday doldrums I suppose, since school is much more dreary with the homework and lectures and the complete lack of tantalizing food (inserts stupid, overused expression, which I will still use anyway) -.-
I am utterly bored with life at this present stage, and I can't bring myself to start on the mountainous, YES MOUNTAINOUS pile of crap they call holiday homework. Oh, and the revision of course. After all, as Ms Oon said "what holidays? You take in a deep breath at the start of SH1 and breathe out after your A Levels".
Nice, and truly encapsulates the life of a student striving verily to obtain zeee As.
P.S Rachel don't be so hardworking and scare the crap out of me please! You keep mentioning about studying. I think I can count the number of times "study" appeared. Methinks more than thrice in that previous post. I haven't even started, so there haha. Don't worry too much! Or maybe its just me being lazy and I should take how to be hardworking + get into the studying mood lessons from the dear grandmaster Rachel Tong!
ANYWAY, who's up for ice skating! I haven't gone in sooo darn long. Plus its good exercise and cold fun! Like maybe when Shu gets back. Before mid december???
(Because I'm bored and really, really, REALLY don't want to do homework :/)

Would thou lovely learned, scholarly enthusiasts possibly do thyself the slightest bit of a favour and articulate thine views on this aesthetically pleasing publication?

Hello people, in case you didn't see Ms Lim's email:
Dear 7IP06 babies,
How's your holiday so far? Do enjoy this break even though you need to revise for your common tests. Some of you had been lacking sleep n rest so please do exercise n eat well, n sleep well.
I am leaving for Russia tonight. So if urgent, do go to school to look for another teacher to help or if not so urgent, u can sms/call/email me.
Take care!
Cheers,
Ms Lim

I read the first line and immediately had an 'Aww' moment.
WE LOVE YOU, MS LIM; even though Joan, Ilyna and Dhriti aren't taught by you, IP2C's too noisy and IP2B too quiet (or so our resident KM says.)

Anyway, as VP of FOOTSPA, here's a little something I heard eons ago (lame joke which has been told over and over again but which I somehow always find humour in):
There was once a priest who bought a horse for his journey to another town. The horse, the horse seller told the priest, was a Holy horse. "It'll start when you say, 'Praise the Lord'; and stop when you say 'Amen'."
The priest bought the horse and started off. "Praise the Lord," he said; and the horse started, just as the horse seller had told him. "Praise the Lord," he said again. And the horse picked up speed.
(and the variations come in; but the main point is that the horse ends up darting uncontrollably towards the edge of a cliff)
Panicking, the priest started praying, and naturally ended with "Amen."
The horse stopped right on the edge.
Upon seeing this, the priest exhaled, relieved; "Praise the Lord!"

(Heehee. My parish priest told that during homily. )
Anyway.
This was an attempt at a revival post, as you can see.

We're also well-known for being a rather loud class by teachers. But we have "high potential to do better", and we aren't exactly that obedient either. We do have our own unique ways of thinking, which comes across as "fussy" or "problematic", to certain teachers.
